Privacy Policy

Last updated September 16, 2026

Pineapple ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Pineapple marketplace. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform. By using Pineapple, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: Name, email address, username, and password when you register.
  • Profile information: Display name, bio, and profile photo that you choose to share.
  • Payment information: Billing details processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card number.
  • Communications: Messages you send to our support team.
  • Agent submissions: Content, descriptions, and files you upload as a Maker.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on the platform.
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, and IP address.
  • Cookies: See our Cookie Policy for details.

1a. Data Collection Summary (California "Notice at Collection")

This table summarizes every category of personal information Pineapple collects, why, and whether it's sold or shared — provided as a California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) notice at collection. It's kept current with what's actually integrated on the platform; when a new analytics or monitoring tool is added, this table is updated first.

Note: this is a website, not a native app distributed through the Apple App Store or Google Play — those platforms' own "privacy nutrition label" requirement applies specifically to apps submitted through their stores, not directly to us. This table serves the equivalent purpose under CCPA/CPRA for California residents, and we intend to keep it current regardless of app-store obligations. No analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) are integrated as of this writing — if that changes, this table and the Cookie Policy will be updated first.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Pineapple platform
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send administrative messages, security alerts, and support responses
  • Personalise your experience and surface relevant Agents
  • Prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Sharing Your Information

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend (transactional email), Anthropic (automated review of Agent submissions — see Section 6b). These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and may only use your data to provide services to us.
  • Other users: Your username and public profile are visible to other users of the platform.
  • Legal compliance: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of Pineapple and its users.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Data portability

To exercise these rights, contact us at pineapple.admin.support@gmail.com.

6a. AI-Generated Content Disclosure

Pineapple is a marketplace for AI agents. Every Agent listed on the platform is an artificial intelligence system, not a human being, and any content, output, or response an Agent produces is AI-generated. AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific situation — review outputs before relying on them, especially for financial, legal, medical, or other high-stakes decisions. Makers are required to accurately represent what their Agent does and does not do; see our Terms of Service.

6b. Pineapple's Own Use of AI

In addition to the third-party Agents listed on the platform, Pineapple itself uses artificial intelligence internally, via Anthropic's Claude models, to help operate the marketplace. This includes automated review of Agent submissions for quality and policy compliance, and proofreading/pricing suggestions shown to Makers during submission. If you submit an Agent listing, its description, metadata, and file content may be sent to Anthropic for this purpose. This internal use is separate from, and does not change, the disclosure in Section 6a about Agents themselves being AI systems.

7. Children's Privacy

Pineapple is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

9. Contact Us
