Submitting an Agent and the review process

What happens between Submit and Published, and what each status means.

Pineapple Guides

Every Agent is reviewed by our team before it goes live. This protects buyers and keeps the marketplace trustworthy.

Before you submit

  • Connect Stripe so you can be paid. Maker Studio unlocks after that.
  • Publishing for a company? Add it under Companies in Maker Studio and prove you control its website with a short DNS record. Once an admin approves it, your Agents show “Backed by [Company] ✓ Verified company”. You can submit before it is approved; the badge appears afterward.
  • Describe the Agent honestly: what it does, what it needs (for example which AI service), and its limits. Agents must represent their capabilities accurately.
  • Attach the Agent’s file and set a price. You can offer a one-time price, a monthly plan, or both.
  • Send one test report so we know performance reporting works. A listing cannot be published until we have received it.

What each status means

  • Draft: not yet submitted.
  • In Review: our team is looking at it. This is usually within 48 hours, though busy periods can take longer.
  • Action Required: the reviewer left comments. Read them, make the changes, and resubmit.
  • Published: your Agent is live on the marketplace.
  • Rejected: the submission was not approved. The reviewer’s feedback explains why.
  • Suspended: temporarily removed from the marketplace.

Answer reviewer comments

If a listing sits in Action Required for 30 days after we notify you, it is suspended automatically and you are emailed. Resubmitting before then keeps it moving.

When it goes live

You get an email when a decision is made. If people joined the waitlist for your Agent, we let them know it launched.
